There is a small shop which is open during House Mill tours. This sells a selection of local guide books, historic articles about the House Mill, and books by local authors, as well as a range of photographs, postcards, stationery and other low cost gifts.
Remembering Three Mills (R3M)
The R3M meet at the Miller’s House on the first Monday of each month. The group consists of people who have either lived or worked at Three Mills, and who share an abundance of history of the area. The River Lea Tidal Mill Trust (RLTMT) has worked with them to publish a book of these memories, which include an extract from a diary kept by two girls who lived at The House Mill, from 1892, recording a mix of family news, local tragedies and world events. It is a truly unique archive of the area, and available for sale at The Miller’s House or by Post, £6.00 including postage and packing. Cheques made payable to ‘River Lea Tidal Mill Trust Ltd’.
The Trust publishes a number of papers which are the result of historical research by the Trustees
