The Three Mills Partnership consists of principal stakeholders with interest in the House Mill and Three Mills Island. Its aim is to promote the House Mill and environs within the Olympic legacy and Thames Gateway as a vibrant attraction, a heritage destination and a centre for business, learning and the community.

The partnership also intends to develop a strategy for raising funds and produce a costed, phased plan for the restoration of the wheels and interior adaptation of the House Mill for a range of appropriate uses.

As part of this initiative Dan Cruickshank was asked to become the “Champion” of the Mill. We are pleased to say that Dan agreed to take on this role, and we look forward to his involvement. Amongst, other things Dan is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects, an Executive member of the Georgian Group and a member of the Architectural Panel of the National Trust. He is better known to most for his presentation work for the BBC, which began with One Foot in the Past and The House Detectives. He has an extensive list of other programmes, films and publications.
